Hardware ID (HWID)

HWID is a unique device identifier in the Mole system, used for access management.

Why is this needed?

Providers can use HWID for: 1. Device Limiting: Restricting the use of a single subscription to 3-5 devices. 2. Admin Access: Binding administrator rights to a specific phone for editing provider settings. 3. Statistics: Tracking unique user activity.

How to get the HWID?

Users can find their HWID in the Settings -> Diagnostics -> HWID section. Additionally, the HWID is automatically transmitted in HTTP headers during subscription updates if permitted in privacy settings.

Format

Mole uses UUID v4, which is generated upon the application's first launch and stored in secure storage.
